I for one just want to hold a steering wheel. I can be active at home or stop the trk and get out and walk 20 min. If I wanted to make alot of stops I'd get a paper route.:biggrin_25525:

a little of every thing they dont only deliever chairs and couches. and its a distribution center (huge warehouse) not just for laz boy, i dont even think i had a laz boy piece on there. but it isnt as bad as it sounds you dont get too many whole trailer drops. watkins is a good company

The number (387) still sounds high, even for pier one or something 387 would be pretty high..

Not sure if they still have the account or not, but while I worked there they pulled for Peir 1 out of the north west DC. That was a pain in the ###... 3 or 4 stops in one day, 5 to 8K pieces, all offloaded by hand to the tail.... I had that load 4 times in a matter of 2 months... not real fun for a heavy guy.

I've had furniture loads throughout Houston that were a PITA.
Something like 13 total stops, 3 days.

It helps when they load it so you can hit the stops consecutively, without having to back track.
Not always the case, but they try.
Almost 80% of the drops won't have docks, it can definitely get challenging at times.
Blind sides, backing from 4 lane streets, 2 lane streets with cars parked on both sides etc.

You will definitely get a workout in, that's for sure.
