From 5 to 10 you can drive all you want around the lot. You will only drive on the street to prove your ability to maintain lane control, turning, hill control and situational awareness.

    Good luck with everything, man.

I definitely enjoy hangin out with the noobs when i hit Missoula lol.

    Edit

I will advise you to take your take and be patient.
Before you know it, you'll be out on the road with no one in that passenger seat.
Ask the drivers questions, any question, it doesn't bother us.

Eventually you'll find yourself sitting on the couch or at the table listening to some war story.
Happens several times a day, the older drivers will talk for hours straight, it's hilarious IMO.

The conversation was about speeding tickets and log books earlier.

I'm lost on this one, doesn't matter anyway, talk about whatever...I'm here to learn about the trucking industry so, tickets and log books apply. I appreciate all the information and honest talk on from everybody.

Seams like a bunch of us w/s forum members are in missoula this weekend. im here also. under load, but down with a busted radiator. i may be here a while if parts are scarce. :-/
The only thing i can really contribute in the way of advice is to stress time managment. "time" is the one thing you need, and almost never have enough of. Be it either the "extra" couple of seconds needed to stop when someone hits the brakes in front of you, to trying to decide if you have time for a cig before running over to drop a load.......
Properly manage your driving, work, and personal habits to make sure you have time.....Because if you need it, and dont have it....... thats when minor problems become big issues..
p.s. im a loner, so ya wont find me hanging in the terminal, but if ya wanna chat, and my blinds are open, feel free to stop and say hi.
    i drive 2070.

edit for spelling...i suck at it, lol.
