    The website is smith-system

At Smith System[SUP]®[/SUP], we don't teach people how to drive, we teach them how to improve their driving. Utilizing our unique on road, hands-on safety education techniques, we turn unsafe drivers into good drivers—and good drivers into better drivers.
We know what works and what doesn't because we've helped over half of the current Fortune 500[SUP]®[/SUP] organizations improve their fleet safety records. In fact, Smith System delivers behind the wheel instruction to more than 30,000 fleet drivers each year and has presented training in more than 100 countries.

Thanks for giving us the scoop! Good to know that two of those alerts are from clerical issues.

And please don't forget to memorize all these excuses.

They will come in handy, I'm sure..........

We have trainers that go through the system in orientation.

It's a popular program with many trucking companies. Here's their web site:

Because they suggest that in a 24 month period, a random WS tractor and/or trailer has nearly a 1/3 chance of being placed out of service by the DOT.

I am glad to hear they've made changes -- in 6-12 months we'll start to see the scores reflect how effective those changes were...

No, they don't. Frankly, your conclusion is nuts.

Sorry, I used the wrong number of inspections (I used the total # instead of just the # of vehicle inspections). It is a 32% chance of having an OOS inspection in 2 years -- not 60%.

    1492 vehicle inspections in 2 years X 18% OOS rate / 845power units = 31.8%

For comparison, OP's other shortlist contender is conway truckload (13%)

    3233 vehicle inspections X 11% OOS rate / 2763 power units = 12.9%
