I wasn't quick enough to take a photo of a California truck that passed us with ripped off nozzle still in tank ! Never forgot it.

Honestly - if you can get a mentor, even for 1 trip, just for you - I would. You can teach the missus what you pick up, might save a hard learning curve.

There's a lot of company specific stuff you can pick up at the same time.

Your right, I probably should grab as much as they will give me... I suppose they would let the wife head back home to get more stuff together while I'm out.. not sure what they would want.
Chinatown I would have loved to hang with you in your "Thai stick days " !:smt044
Whew, building memories for old age. My only regret in life is that I didn't build more wild memories. My wife says it's time I grow up. My grouchy neighbor here in China put a clothes line up in the commons area of the condo complex & blocked my view. He wouldn't listen to reason. He takes the clothes line down after dark, then puts it back up in the mornings. I pulled the clothes line real tight and retied the knots, then cut the excess line off at each end even with the knot. That night he took the clothes line down and didn't notice anything. The next morning he couldn't figure out why the clothes line is too short. He looked like a real doofus, one of the three stooges.

If you build a pile of wild memories, you may end up wishing you had of been more settled...

I know; that's one of those deals, "If I had known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself."

Í need put in my place on my responses - I can't believe the correction police haven't arrested me !!!!

Help this man out. I'm having flashbacks to my first weeks in trucking!

Allright.. I'm off to dig ditches out front. They won't dig themselves - not at 24 degrees. Better check my beer isn't frozen and smashed in the fridge too . . .
