We we only put an application in and were told there were more qualified applicants. My husband has a steady work history, so that's nit the reason. He has his CDL A and went to trucking school, but otherwise has no CDL driving experience.

My fiance and I just enrolled into Dootson School of Trucking and this company is one of the ones at the top of our list to get hired on with. Have heard alot of good things about them. We plan on doing team OTR.

Teams do a lot of terminal to terminal runs, mostly drop & hook.

Ok after starting and completing the orientation here is the breakdown. They put you up in a mediocre hotel Breakfast is decent tho and they pay for your bus ticket there (yes greyhound) they have a company car for you to use to get back and forth to the terminal which is 1 mile away. Day 1 is mainly paperwork you know welcome packets rules and regs and you receive $100 via t-check. Day 2 is safe driving pre-tripping their trucks and a drug test. Day 3 is a human performance exam and more videos and shifting class. Day 4 is more classroom exercises which include logs and then there is some city driving. Day 5 is more city driving and then there is also more classroom exercises, during these city drives you CAN NOT hit a curb or you will receive a bus ticket home, also on this day you will receive $200. Day 6 is a full day of backing, a full day of backing!!! Day 7 is a day off. Day 8 is more classroom and city driving to see what you need more of. Day 9 is mountain driving and more classroom exercises. Day 10 is classroom no more driving at all videos and more. Day 11 is more class room more videos. Day 12 is the final day of class and if you made it this far all your necessary paperwork to fully start your new career. I had to go with a coach for an additional week which help me out tremendously but that experience is another story. I received the additional money on Friday($400 but they tax this one). Matt, John, and RL are great people who makes class enjoyable I believe I made the right decision. Beware Matthew is a ninja don't try to pull anything over on him he will find out.
