You will go broke teaming at WS. Very low pay along with low miles.

The insurance for new hire drivers is terrible, plus no prescription coverage.

Most of their trailers are in poor condition.

Take your team far from this company.

You must be one of those trucking company critics. I ran 130,000 miles a year for them and they paid well IMHO. Bruce Oakley was paying 85 cents at the time Ws was paying 1.35 or more, some loads were above 2.30 to the truck. We got discounts on fuel, shop time and OOs even get priority over company trucks in the shop and for the loads. They ran the hell out of mean and I ran Balt-Sea-Spo-Chi-Laf-Sea-Spo-Chi-Balt. I loved them and if I had any complaint the Super took care of it and look at the pic, I had a large car and pulled a covered wagon.

If you go here as a team you will at some point call your liason or dispatch manager trying to get more miles because you and your mate will be very hungry; be prepared to hear "oh ok its just that teams dont usually want to drive that much they usually want to sight see some" i kid you not heard that one three times

Yes, the O/Os do seem to be content there... The company team drivers take a beating though. I have heard some solo drivers are OK there. Please read the W/S ( this is a Watkins Shepard thread) concerning Volvo in the Hospital. There are many comments concerning company teams. Some good points, but very many bad.

Lied to about being a team company. Anyone reading this thread that is interested in being a company team driver should seek employment elsewhere.
