Umm I see it like this.. I'm a single guy, I don't have an apt so that's 700(north jersey rent is expensive) I will be staying with parents on the weekends free laundry and food, utilities about 100 dollars right theres at least 800 saved without going into a lot of details. I got a 10 dollar food limit a day while on the road, Even if I make 25k I could be at the same level as a person who makes 32k a year

Good for you, papi. The first year will be tough, frustrating, and difficult. But it's something you have to do and CAN do it you put your mind to it, pay attention, and don't listen to all the naysayers here. Every company is good and every company is bad. What you make it is up to you. Good luck!

I graduate 2/3/2012, I am looking at Werner very seriously....
I think any company I pick will have its ups and downs. Im not a quitter and hope to get what I put in. If I get a crappy trainer I wont hold it against Werner. I have been taught alot of great skills already from my current school. I am gonna vouch to stay with a company a year. I dont want the company hopper on my record...
My only question about Werner is how long does the usual 275 hours last with a trainer? How do they calculate it down? Total out on road or total I personally drive?
Thanks in advance for any info and the info already provided.....

I sat in the Warner presentation at Roadmaster Tampa yesterday. No red flags. Much better program than the offer I have from CRST. More presentations to hear in the coming weeks (till graduation). I'll let you know.
