    Thinking about taking a local position with Werner out of springfield. But before calling driver placement I wanted to get other drivers feedback?! How many hrs a day do you work with how many days off per week? Is it hourly or mileage pay? What could you expect to make per week on average? How far do they run ? If I missed anything feel free to add helpful info! Before you say call driver placement I wanted driver feedback because they tend to lye about pay like any company! Thanks!

    I have heard things about Werner being good for the old bait and switch. There are also many posts here about being lured into orientation with the promise of a particular account then told that only OTR was available. Better proceed with caution.

    Best positions with Werner will probably get you $700/week average, or $1100/week as a trainer. With that being standard, a day cab job that can promise you home every day cause of where you live is a very good deal.
