How long of a wait for Trainer after Orientation?

I have orientation scheduled this coming Monday in Allentown PA for Werner. I was told it's about 2 and 1/2 days long, so I should be finished with the orientation part wednesday. I'm wondering how long do you usually have to wait for your trainer afterwards? I seen people say anywhere from a few hours after orientation to 3+ days afterwards......

If your unlucky enough to be one of the ones that has to wait days, do they let you go home and have the trainer pick you up somewhere near your house? Or do you have to stay in the hotel with a roommate those extra days? I don't mind having a roommate at all, but the chance of having to spend a week with one with nothing to do is a bit of a stretch. I don't have the money to get my own room except for maybe 1 or 2 nights ( werner pays half, so I'm guessing it'd be like $30 a night for your own room ).


I live about 3 hours from Allentown, I'm in western MD.

 

Yeah I know the pay is going to be low, I think I remember my recruiter saying I'll be making only like $0.32 a mile after my 270 hours of training ( I think it's 270 ). Supposedly making about $450 a week during training. But this is my first driving job, I finished driving school back in August so I knew I wasn't going to be making a ton right out of the gate. Everybody always told me that the first year is the worst, after that, a lot more doors open up.
