The one I'm with now, but they require 1 year experience.
Do a little research on here. Werner presents itself out here exactly how they are described on this forum.

Do you have a CDL or are you planning on getting slave wage training?

TMC hires newbies...its flatbed so a bit more work, but they respect their employees and pay alot better. Also they dont have any trainers that are like the one the other guy wrote about. And if any bad trainers slip through the cracks, you can switch and report them so they get removed from the training program.

TMC got me where i am today and i even made enough to buy a truck out right (no financing) after 1.5 years.

they're ok. my truck seems to have a lot of gremlins, been in the shop every week since i got it. dispatcher is a good fellow, assigns me decent loads and when i am two hours out from delivering, he already has another one pre-assigned. i havent had anyone yelling at me about delivery times and ive been late on a few because of the truck.

The worst part is the pay. stingy and cheap. aside from that, if you arent lazy and dont wreck your truck or scrape, scratch or run into stuff while backing...you will be fine.

if you want to make money with Werner, then become a trainer. your miles plus students miles.

I am with werner, been with them since Jan. 1, 2014.. just talked with a driver who has been with them for 6 years, ann have met others who have been with werner for years..

Personally, right now I am happy with werner and the dedicated account I am on.. I have not had the problems that others have had with werner..

I had to take a week off because my father was ill, and my dog also got very sick.. so spent the week going back and forth from the people hospital in Omaha, to the vet hospital in Ames Ia.. by car not truck, eve rode the motorcycle a few trips..

My fleet manager and werner were very understanding throughout the whole week.. and even since then, when I needed to take care of a couple things.. got me a load that delivered right by my house, was able to have a neighbor pick me while my truck was being loaded and go take care of what I needed to..

II have a friend I met in orientation... and they are not having as good experience with werner as I am...

I am getting a new truck next weekend which I am looking forward to.. I run between 2500 to 3000 miles each week.. and my week is pretty simple for the most part.. I run the loads, send in my macros, and they pretty much leave me alone and pay me each week.. so my week does go pretty smootly..

And no, I am not a werner office person.. I am a werner driver, I am happy with werner.. at least for now..

If you like to work for free and be lied too then go for it. You probably end up making .26 CPM - .03 CPM for so called bonus and that will leave you making .23 CPM loaded and you will most likely make .07 CPM dh. Lots of other starter companies that may pay more

The BS and misinformation spouted here is always so comical to me.... I am on a dedicated and my base per mile is .34 cents per mile, then I get bonuses, stop pay, and such on top of that.. so I average .55cpm or higher.. this last week with .34cpm plus accessorie pay I got .63cpm.. I run 2500 to 3000 miles per week, am home on weekends, have good health, dental and vision.. I have just 6 months experience.. so being a new driver in my first year brining home $1000 or more a week.. I feel that is good... I am not micro managed.. in fact most weeks I only talk with my fleet manage on monday when I start my week and on friday when mh week is ending.. between then I just get my loads, run them, send my macros.. I stop where and when I want.. it is true that I can only fuel at truck stops that are in our network of approved fuel locations.. but there are a lot of fuel locations in our network so it is no big deal...

II already have my first load for next week.. when I was dropping my loaded trailer at the terminal I saw about 15 brand new shiny trucks.. didnt even have the logos on them yet... werner is a solid company.. check out Forbes..
My pay has never been late or short.. if I ever needed money for anything I just send my macro and within moments I have my authorization..

I admit, not everyone has had a good experience with werner.. but I think it is ridiculously ignorant for anyone to be so disillusioned as to think there are not drivers at werner who are happy and making money..

Any trucking company has happy and unhappy drivers...
