You cant be serious? I'm guessing your joking?

Its kind of like most policeman now days... They used to get beat up in high school, so now they have a gun and badge and all the sudden are big bad azzezs... The loser trainers that cant even properly back themselves after only 3 months now think cause they have a cdl and a puppy company like werner lets them play "boss" as a trainer all the sudden there poop don't stink.

And to the original OP.... Just for future reference, I know you were trying to do right by reporting the 3rd mishap when you bent the trailer skirts but, in the future you'll learn and see specially with a big company like Werner that trailers take a beating and a trailer skirt is just a pain in the ### decal that makes the company more money that they don't pass on to the driver... Do your self a favor in the future don't report something like that to the company especially if it didn't cause damage to property or another drivers truck and or trailer.... What they don't know wont hurt... You'll get another job but like others have said don't sit and wait get moving now try smaller companies.... Look on Craigslist, Big certainly doesn't mean better in this Industry.... IMO small companies are the way to go and majority don't use the fraudulent DAC system that the feeders do...Best of Luck

You think someone with 3 months under the belt in this industry is qualified to train? Someone with 3 months still cannot even back the truck up themselves properly...

You can't be serious can you, have you seen some of these drivers, they know more than the rest, and that whole 3 months gave them more experience then what I have... Must be true as I see it happen quite a bit with the big companies, and surely they wouldn't do anything wrong would they?

I just wonder who signs off on these guys to get their own truck. From the guys putting diesel in the def tank, to the guy who hits everything but docks. What the Sam Hill is going on out there?

If you are a rookie and you are blind side backing GET A FREAKING SPOTTER OR TWO or don't do it. Pay somebody else to get it in there. You can fix the side skirts just carry a couple wrenches and it will normally go back in place.

As far as this cat getting another gig good luck with that. Once they here fired and accident's and less then a few months driving. Your app is in in the waste basket.

Why don't some of you tell people Trucking is not for everybody!! Just like being a mechanic, doctor, nurse and a ton of other professions is not for me. No matter how much I put into it. It's always going to be a super pain, and my mind will be a brick wall to all the instructions I'm given. This is why I think so many have such a hard time driving. They probably aren't that great at driving the car let alone a big truck. Do what you are good at and stop going to cheesy training outfits that only train you how to lose your licence in 3 months or less.

Thanks for checking out my story. I felt a little better just sharing it. I wanted to let everyone know that I appreciated the comments both good and bad. It has helped give me some perspective. Of course I enjoyed the positive stuff a bit more than the negative.

And Dino, I heard there were drivers out there that came out their mama shifting gears but you are the first one I ran across.

    Lowa3468 and Dinomite Thank this.

I took some time to reread this and delve into it. Here's what I see and would like to know 1) when released 30 hours early did you feel you were ready? If not why didn't you say something? 2) When you were told no for home time why didn't you speak up and go above his head? 3) 1st accident, #### happens, 2nd one....get out and look all the time but especially blindside, and if you were at a receiver that sounded like they were big why did you have to blind side. 3rd one never should been reported. Sounds like you need to learn to speak up for yourself. This is a cut throat business, you need to be man enough to go out and get yours. No one will hand you anything. You gotta cowboy up and get it done. Put in apps and keep looking. Check out Pepsi or Coke, they like CDL holders so don't have to train them. If you can live with people judging you, garbage truck drivers make a killing out there. That is my plan once I decide to come off the road. Remember Cowboy up. You will be fine. Good luck.
