I worked at Werner enterprises for 6 months. I did not enjoy working there. Terrible pay, hardly ever got any miles, 15-1700 miles a week if I'm lucky, sooo many short loads under 200 miles, clueless dispatchers, NEVER got home on time... I've got a whole laundry list of problems with this company but those are the main issues I had. This company is extremely disorganized.. That being said however, Werner has some excellent dedicated accounts. If you can get on one, you will do well at Werner. But if you stay on drivers choice, like I was, I will keep you in my prayers.

I have a cousin in Paducah KY that is on a ddedicated Tyson account and he is very happy with Werner.

I have been with werner since the beginning of the year and I am happy here.. they have hundreds of accounts so you can find one that works for you.. I consistently ran over 2500 miles a week..
I hurt my shoulder and was able to work at the terminal and draw my drivers pay instead of the 66% I would of got on workmans comp.
Anyway, working at the terminal gave me the opportunity to meet and talk with many many drivers.. I met and talmed to drivers from 30 minutes with werner to 43 years... I have met and talked to several of our million milers, even ate lunch with a 2 million miler... tomorrow, the only driver to reach the 5 million safe miles Charles endorf who had a truck stop named after him for that accoplishment, will be at the terminal..
Anyway to answer your question... most of the experienced drivers were happy and successful. . I did meet driver with 7 years at werner who was struggling lately.. but, he said some if not most was his own making.. he was gonna take a leave of absence and get back on track.. and there have been a few other drivers withthe usual whines and complaints... but, probably more becuse that is how they are..
Werner is going with a 2 year old fleet.. and 6 years for trailers.. they are also rolling out pay increases. . OTR is getting a 14% increase...
They got some great new accounts too.. a lot of drivers are very happy on the ABF account pulling doubles, and there is now a lot of home daily Dollar General accounts, as well as others..
But, like with any company.. it will be what you make it...
