honestly its whatever you decide to make of it.

if you listen to all the griping, whining b!tching and moaning...it will be negative.

see what kind of dedicated accounts are available in your area and get on one. steady paid, weekends off. way better than OTR with Werner.

stay away from the drivers lounge in the terminals. thats where all the complaining goes on.

 

Country hit the nail on the head, most of the unhappy Werner drivers are doing OTR. Most guys on dedicated accounts are pretty happy. I was doing Budweiser for a while and had some issues, ended up going with WalMart and im loving it. Almost all drop and hook, WalMart trailers are usually in good condition, and last week they ran me so hard I'm sitting at about 3000 miles and doing a reset.

There are lots of opportunities, if something isn't working for you, there's always something else to try.

The only things I really dislike about the company are the mobile eyes they put in new trucks and the training program that is basically just team driving.

I'm sure you'll learn the joys of the mobile eye soon enough.
