Try to see if family can take you in for a while. Then blow off weenie.

Too bad this has happened to you but if you had been lurking here for a while before you joined, I gotta believe you must have read some horror stories on weenie. But that is in the past, get your wife back to the home base, ask for help from family, and get out and look else where's. Very best of luck to you and the missus.

Since you have only 7 amost 8 months you'll more then likely will have to go with another starter company but won't have to get retrained.I think you could have found another company that would have hired you after Pam and didn't have to go back out with a trainer. You mentioned Crete.I never hear any bad reviews on them so fill out an application today and you'll hear back from them tomorrow. If you still have second thoughts about leaving,Werner has many dedicated accounts and dedicated lanes, why don't you see if you can get on one of those. You'll probably be issued a different trk.

What about SNI tanker division? I have heard they pay fairly well and keep drivers busy.

Dude,, you say you're 20 hrs away from "home". Where is your home area at?
I also presume you need a company that will allow your wife to ride with, as she cannot drive, correct? Or do you have other options, in that regard?

Home is near Kansas City. We're hoping to relocate to Tennessee in the future, but with the setbacks at PAM, which was devastating, and continued setbacks at Werner, that future is far off indeed.

The wife can't work. Her spine is all kinds of messed up and because of her age, no one wants to work on her back and risk paralyzation. She couldn't do the job with the meds they have her on for pain management.

As as to being aware of the forum, I wish I was before I entered the industry. It's been one bad struggle after another. I wish I had done more homework. It's severely hurt us. PAM was a nightmare and Werner is turning into one as well. I like trucking though. I'm not going to give up on this.

Stay at werner. Put in 1 year (i know it sounds like alot its NOT it goes by fast. In 1 week i will be at my current employer for 10 months, it flew by) and then move on to much greener pastures.

During that year you will be broke, cold, hot, angry, lonely, <fill in terrible feeling/emotion here>, but if you dont hit anything and you dont get any tickets you will reap the rewards of your patience and determination.

A wise man once said, "there is no progress without struggle". Listen to the wise man.

It's been a week so far that I've not been paid. And I can't tell if you're being serious about Swift. I thought they were up there with England as far as do not work for them goes.
