ok, true, they will take you right out of school, but I know Crete wont if past 30 days out of school. Werner is about the only one now that will take you if you have been out of school for a while without a refresher. Well I guess some have to start somewhere........

That's right but its sad to see they way a lot of company's do there drivers but I no at one time crete owned about 48% of werner bc they needed so money to stay up

Werners training pay from their site:

The first 0 - 137.5 hours, student receives $325 per week. The 138 - 300 hour range pays $350 per week, and if the training goes beyond eight weeks or 300 hours, the pay is $375 per week

I don't fall under the student pay scale I fall under what they call the codriver payscale which is 400 a week till I finish training.

I spoke to someone online and they said they weren't hiring students out of my community college in Delaware. Wish they were. Crete's my first choice.

man been awhile, i finished my training im at home right now taking a leave of absense due to military duty. I will be back on the road around dec 7th hope i get a decent truck
