I know I drove a blue one 4 Arctic Express it did do 72 & it had a CAT eng w/Super 10....Luckily this Blue I drive runs like a 99 Mack CH600 I used to drive same speed (68mph) same trans 10sp b4 da old Mack engine died & was replaced by a bigger crappier engine....Only da Blue I drive now is a Cummins...by Feb 2013 if they do retire them SMX I won't be working 4 them no more Guaranteed!!!!

i ALSO DO FLATBED FOR WESTERN EXPRESS, AND HAPPEN TO BE FEMALE. YES ITS GREAT IN THE BEGINNING. I'VE BEEN HERE OVER A YEAR, AND BELIEVE ME IT DOES CHANGE. LET ME KNOW HOW THAT HOMETIME SITUATION WORKS OUT AS WELL AS THE GREAT MILES (LOL) IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS. AS FOR THE TRAINING FOR FLATBED, YOU ARE ACCURATE ON THAT. IT'S GOOD THAT YOU WENT WITH A TRAINER FIRST, BUT DID THEY TEACH YOU ANYTHING. i HAD TO WATCH OTHER FLATBED DRIVERS AND ASK QUESTIONS SO THAT I COULD DO IT RIGHT. DON'T GET IT TWISTED, ITS OK HERE, BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THAT YOU GET WHEN YOU FIRST START THAT DISAPPEARAFTER ABOUT 3 MONTHS OR SO. REPOST LATER AFTER YOU'VE GOT A REAL FEEL OF THINGS.:biggrin_25525:

Everybody complaints about the tarp pay, but the company I work for now doesn't even pay one. So everytime I drag out that enormous tarp to cover a small coil I get paid $0. The pay is also not that great try 1300 every two weeks. When you start you have to wait two weeks to get paid so you go a month w/o a paycheck.
