if you heard about big blue then you don't need to ask about western because they treat you the same poor way, i think averitt express, crete, watsontown trucking or lessors inc will be a better option for you but if you need to drive a brain new truck and sit in a truck stop 24/7.

Take my advice... I'm am currently sitting in the hotel that Western uses for orientation. I don't have much bad to say about the flatbed staff, but I have heard numerous stories from current drivers. You can make money as long as you keep the doors closed. I will say that they have excellent benefits. I very much so doubt that you will have to go out with a trainer. This is just my opinion though. I am thankful for the opportunity I've been given, but I am tired of the waiting game at this hotel. Later on this week, I could tell you a little better after this process is complete. Good luck to you driver!

I can tell you that flatbed drivers cap at 34cpm, unless you get on john deer dedicated. I dont what you make know but that is not good money to pull a flatbed. I started at 34cpm at Roehl when I had no exp.

I've been here since last Sunday night. I'm hoping to get a trainer either tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm know this industry is alot of hurry up and wait, but I expected a little better hiring process than this. Oh well, I deal with it as it comes.
