Hi.. my husband has his cdl for years but never served his time over the road.. due to the economy he is trying to find work and is considering a position with Western Express..other places are just not satisfied with the amount of otr or tt experience he has.. we are a little worried because of the reviews WE has floating around. THe recruiter is looking to put him on the Northeast Regional Runs cause of where we live and Im noticing everything I am reading is mostly flatbed and more south. Does anyone have anything to say about their exp with running the Northeast Regional runs with Western Express and if not that can anyone at least have anything POSITIVE to say? Its no secret work is hard to find all over right now and we are limited with options.. thanks

The last time I checked, Western Express dry van was predominantly NorthEast regional. They pull a whole lot of Poland Springs bottled water out of Maine. Heavy, heavy loads, and we all know how much fun water can be on crappy roads.

Not sure about the flatbed side as far as regional goes, though.

yes we have ner fb runs...mostly ny,pa & nj...if your hubby wants to run flatbed we have the miles...and if he needs more training we also can place him with a trainer for a week or send him through extended load securement class which will get him out solo (if he's pulled fb before, but has little exp)
