Carol Shelby , besides the models he signed for ford, had a custom shop . Yes most of the cars he turned out were ford. But it was not just a factory crate motor he dropped it . Usually it was a couple hundred more HP . Trans was also upgraded. Suspension up graded, brakes also . Better interior. Then may be add some ground affects , painted to match factory paint . OCC appears to be bolting a crate motor in a factory frame , and charging a extra 30 to 40 k for paint and seat. Their production bike is in the 40s , basically a 20 k Harley painted. Sorry but just don't see it. Buy the Harley and take it to PeeWee ( did couple of ZZ Tops cars) and save 15 k ?
We have got off topic, you know when you test out. -
i go to orientation monday for thiscompany and im not to comfortable with all the negative info coming from these current drivers. i understand every company has there share of digruntal, never can be satisfied employees, but these complaint are about the most important thing about working... money. does anyone have anything positive to say about western express.

Oh ok now I understand what you're saying about OCC. I used to watch a lot of their shows and saw the take frames and cut them and do all kind of customizing to them besides just dropping an engine in a frame. But either way I don't want one of their bikes I just love bikes period. My next will be a road glide made by Harley. Lol. But I should be testing out tomorrow.

123...Did you ever stop to ponder why one would complain and yet continue working for the company with all of the opportunities out here. If you're having an issue with what's being said there is no need to ask anybody else if all you're hearing is negative talk. Stop wasting your time and find another company. You have 12 years experience I'm quite sure that somebody out there will give you a job for sure. I was at the Nazereth PA yard last week and this driver who had been with the company one week was there complaining that he didn't get what he signed up for. So he was going to quit. He ended up talking to the terminal manager and was told that they would give him what he promised from his recruiter and guess what...he still quit. I guess he wanted to continue his ranting regardless of the fact that he was offered exactly what he was asking for. Said that to say this, ppl are going to complain regardless. If you talk to a lazy driver who doesn't run the miles to get the decent paycheck then of course money is going to be the issue. I'm just wondering how many loads those drivers have been late on or turned down for no good reason yet they want fat checks. It's what you make it. Good luck in whatever you decide. Honestly you would be better as an O/O because there is the same negative comments on here about just about every company out there. You should check Craigslist for a job there is always listings for drivers.

The ones they really work on they ask over 100k . But the production models never made it on the show.

I hear ya. I guess that's why they only make those special ones as tribute bikes for big companies. Like I said I think they look good but I'm working on me a custom road glide.
