Warning. DO NOT FOLLOW THE QUALCOMM GPS. If you have your own, use it. It just sent me through downtown Allentown, a place where full size truck is suppose to go! Tried to send me on a truck restricted rout e. Has been telling me to do random multiple u turns and NUMEROUS no truck routes. Do not follow the qualcomm. You have been warned

They tell us that we absolutely have to use the GPS on the QUALCOMM. The majority of the time though my Rand routes me on the routes I want to go anyhow.

better yet... don't follow any gps routing till you confirm it with a randy mcnally truckers map. its your wallet that get burned if you get caught in an illegal situation.

Well this was my first time following it, I always avoided using it just wanted to give it a hoot. I keep my Atlas at my side. They also give us our route in txt too, except for local routes. It just tells us local and however many miles so areas won't help there, and for the rest, they don't give us any city or states to work with so it's hard to verify their routing information.

Anyways, I know the routes up here to know where I'm going with or without any maps, main routes anyways. Just the local routes that are the issue. Atlas is pretty useless in that aspect. Kinda have to know the area to know where your going.

Wat I do is I map out my route on a map by the major highways and stuff they give on route solution. That way u can see if any of the roads or routes have restrictions or low bridges. Then I put on my truck GPS as a reference .

::::: I put on there GPS too cuz I've noticed following there routes by the end of the week I have given them anywhere frm 150- 300 free miles. Cuz there loaded and empty are usually short . But if u follow there route and tell ur DM I mean not like 6 or 15 miles over I'm saying 20 and up they WLAN pay

    TBearfield Thanks this.
