Just a couple of questions

You hear and read so much it is really hard to know what to do. If anyone can help would greatly appreciate it. Number one is that I read a post where a current trainee said you go out with another refresher if you do the refresher course for your training period. Is this a fact or do you get a trainer? Also how exactly can they affect your CDL . Is this equipment or what? I understand if I do something stupid but something that is not my fault. Please help with any info you can.
