Hi there. Heading to orientation 6-14-14. I am flying to Nashville from Denver. Has anyone ran out of Colorado working for WE? My recruiter is Tamisha, she has answered my questions along with my wife's questions honestly and openly. My question is this. Do you have to work for the company for 9 months if you take there refresher coarse? My recruiter said I will do 2 days of orientation and 3 days of load securement and 2 to 3 weeks of running with someone come back and I'll be going solo and head back to colorado.

well Ill tell you this much, I lasted a week with WE. Not because they we just a horrible company but they hired me for a dry van division out of dallas, but then later im told they dont have the freight to get me home when I wanted to be and i would have to stay out 4 weeks at a time. No Thanks.....

I was there 2 days and was seated in a truck, I ran for a week and had a load going back to Nashville so I could talk to someone about the home time, because between my recruiter and DM I was being told 4 different storys.....when I got back to nashville there were still flatbed drivers waiting on a trainer from my group and the group before us. And a few people from my group got sent home for a week to wait for a truck. Refreshers will be paired with a random refresher from the group and sent out as a "team" for 10,000 miles. Good Luck, if they offered my hometime when i wanted I would have liked to stay.

As someone who has a father with a Tracheotomy, it in no way means they're unable to drive a truck.
