any one else attending orientation 5/27/14?

Will anyone on here be going thru 3 days of boredom with me? Looking forward to meeting everyone and starting this chapter.

 

What's this I hear even with exp I have to ride with a trainer for 2 weeks.......if this is true I'll be back on a greyhound heading home soon.

 

Yeah so um.....there is 122 new hires in just this "class" there isn't enuff seats for everyone........

 

There is also a guy here that is all of 600 pounds and has a TRACHEOSTOMY!!! How the hell its that safe?

 

Well I asked around and I'm not an eval after this eobr class and a few other stops I'm good to go. The first day was chaos but it wasn't to bad....there is like 5 or 6 guys that for health reasons shouldn't be driving, but we all know if western didn't hire them someone else would. Unless it its just a major cluster f, I don't mind the orientation process. I'm more interested in the dm, load planners. I talked to more then enuff drivers before I came and they say miles are there, every now and then they will pull a bone head move with loads that can't be made on time. Just have to explain it, its not a big deal. But I guess we will see. I'm only giving them 6 months so.
