    it's not only about orientation. the refresher drivers get paid low wages. $200 to $300 a week. thats less then the min amount required by federal law.

    So did you go voluntarily or were you coerced somehow? Literally thousands of other choices...

    The other thing is... Trucking doesn't fall under flsa...that's why a lot of these shyster co's do what they do..

    They still owe me about 1800 I'd sign up for any law suit out there against western.

    If drivers are required to fill out logs during orientation,then they should pay.They'll be forking a lot of money out once this case is over.

    That's true but when companies bring drivers in that are on the Greyhound for hrs drivers aren't going to just quit and then have to pay for their way back home.Unfortunately you'll be going thru the same thing once u start driving.There's so many things wrong with companies and drivers don't find out till they start driving for them.

    What are the causes of action, damages, mitigations, etc..? It is not looking good. Lest we not forget, a lawyer will argue that water isn't wet as long as it pays... I hope it shakes his way, bcuz I hate how the large firms leverage their power against individuals. But, if the system behaves accordingly, he'll be dismissed pre-trial via summary judgment... I know, its ridiculous.
