lease programs are set up for the company to make money . Anyone that leases is setting them selves up to go broke real fast., Most LP's are not for the driver. Two things are usually missing in this kind of lease.
    Walk away with no penalty.
Being able to take truck to different carrier and continue to make payments to original carrier.

As a lease operator You lose benefits ,vacations, bonuses and other company driver benefits.
You basically pay off company equipment. Granted there are a very few leases out there that don't have "screw the driver" clauses behind the lease set up. They are a well kept secret from the average inexperienced newbie. Unless you have at least a year or more driving don't even consider a lease. Leasing a truck from a carrier does not make you an Owner Operator.

I think its a joke that such a bottom dwelling company such as western even offers a lease program. And I know from experience there a nightmare to work for much less lease something from!!!!
