Well, to answer your original query . . .

There's a lot of whiny lazy driver about.

I can make a good living about anywhere, doing anything, because I . . .

    A) Tell the truth.
    B) Work hard
    C) Get along with others
    D) Understand the nature of the industry.
    E) Manage my own back yard before looking next door.

Sounds like hubby gets it too. For all the complaints about companies - there's plenty of happy drivers.

Next step is to realise your own value, and capitalise on it.

They're usually the ones working, doing what they're paid to do, and not spending all their time in the drivers' lounge whining about how bad "I" have it and how good "they" have it.

Good deal,im sure other drivers that's been with Western for yrs feel the same way.Everybody has their reasons why they complain.Sometimes their complaints are legite then sometimes they have no one to blame but themselves.

To call the benefits at Western "good" is a stretch. Pray you get no major illness. You'll go bankrupt.

It covers up to 25k on a major illness. If God forbid you get cancer, and rack up 200k in medical bills, who do you think is responsible? YOU! If you don't have the 175k balance, you go bankrupt. If you're 50 or older, I'd be really worried about having their insurance. Everything you've worked for, equity in a house, car, and s o on is GONE.

It hasn't been that long since I left, but that's how it was when I was there. The dental covers up to 1000.00.
