any thoughts on western xpress

As long as I keep getting 2800-3200 miles a week, I'm good. If the week has been bad with step n fetch short hauls, I'll ask for something to close the week out. I'm about to pull out of Milton PA with a load going to FL. That will close the week out nicely and let momma shop this coming Friday. I know there are better jobs. Folks here seem to enjoy rubbing our noses in it like we are puppies that just took a dump in the house.

I know in any industry you have to put in some time. Earn some respect. Job hopping doesn't make anyone an asset. I've also learned that there really is only one good job... That is the one you're going to get, no one ever seems happy in their current job.

 

i drove for them, not nearly as bad as many other people claim, but trust me when i say u want to be more in the 27-35ish cpm range, your on flatbed with e logs, u wont make no money running 99 mile runs all day.

ill take the 500+ mile runs over the short hauls all day on flatbed with elog, you gotta get loaded, secure, tarp, log it all, u got pre and post trips, you got 30 minute break, u got i gotta take a leak and need a cup of coffee quick stops that turn into 20 minute stops because the truck stop is packed etc.
