just buy one of them sticky clocks from the truck stop and sticky tape it somewhere that's easy access to you in bed. mine is going on 1 year now with same battery. the screen dno't stay lit. but all you gotta do is push the button. to see the time.

When you start the truck is the clock accurate after being shut off?

I have a WS. The clock is suppose to go off when you start the truck. The time is still kept. Just push the time button and the display will come back on and stay on until you start the truck again.
Push and hold the time button then push the hour or minute to adjust the time.Cetane+ Thanks this. -
Oh ya.. time is accurate when display is off

Pete clock goes off also, easy way is put truck on acc and stays on, because you can push any button on my clock when truck is off and it will not light up anymore.

You could connect the power feed from the ignition on wire to the battery wire. Then it would be powered full time. Thats how I hooked up my WS digital clocks, and it takes months to drain the batteries.
