Hello everyone. I have applied at con-way and wilson in the past few days. This evening I found out southeastern is hiring as well and I will fill out an app for them tomorrow. My question is there anyone on here that works or has worked for them that can give me any info. I have been drivng since 1999 and mostly been local, with some otr runs in between. Any info will be very helpful, thank you.

I've hauled their loads on an as needed basis and never heard a bad thing, I know the trucks are older for local guys and the line haul division has better equipment... line haul overnights alot and local is home daily, hope that helps!!

Thanks for your info. Anybody that has worked for any of them please tell me what to expect in an interview. Not sure I have one yet. Con-way told me if I haven't heard from them by Monday to give them a call. Wilson and Southeastern said they are just accepting apps at the time and may hire in mid may. Wilson only accepted apps in person and not online so I think that may limit some of the compition. My current company has been really slow. I only worked 17 hours this week and right now nothing is on the board for Monday. I need something, may have to give this dumptruck outfit that I use to work for on the side a call and see if they need a hand until something falls through.

I don't know. Maybe some one can put it where it belongs not sure how to do it and didn't know I had put it in any section. If some one knows how to move it let me know so I can then maybe I'll get more info as well.

I worked for both Con-Way and Southeastern Freightlines, 10+ yrs at Con-way and 11 months at SEFL. SEFL is the better of the two, they pay better. I left SEFL to work overseas and now that I am back, I will be going back to work for them again.Their application is a bit long, about 45min long, so have some time set aside for this. My hiring process was online application, interview, road test with safety guy ( who took me through several backing scenarios) and two weeks training one week with a trainer and one solo.
