I drive for Reddaway and am interested in hearing from other Reddaway drivers out there. Good or bad, any thoughts or comparisons to other ltl carriers.
Any other Reddaway drivers?

Are the reddaway trucks on roids? You guys just eat up Donner like its nothing. Im in the right lane doing 45 because my truck cant pull a noodle out of oil..Im always like screw those guys.lol

Im sure Reddaway's trucks are the same due to being same company lol. What kind of tractor are you using for line-haul that only does 45mph??? I remember the year and engines they used at CWF -
all the trucks are gutless man.
Ive driven the new cascadia, the volvo sleeper and the 08 sterlings...no balls in any of them -
Yes the YRC trucks are governed. Always have been even before computers.
Now it is all done with a computer... -
governed or not, them things pull

My trucks an older Volvo, its got some set of balls to it still though even if it is governed so I wouldnt ever guessed it.
@Century when I did line-haul for CWF I usually had an 06 sterling. That thing was POWERFUL, it pulled 45,000 pounds from Carlstadt like it was nothing. The cascadia I drove once and it wasnt that heavy of a pull, and we never got any volvo sleepers -
We have the run of the mill out here as we do alot of 600 mile meet and turns and run triples as well. we've got like 4/5 twin screw sterlings. the volvo is a 13sp. but loaded or light they have no power whatsoever

I drive a '12 Volvo. It's governed at 61 but pulls the hills pretty well. Not as good as the ol' freightliners but better than the Orange volvos we have. I'm not sure what Yellow/Roadway does but all of ours are set between 60-65.
