I had the road test the same day as my interview, they told me beforehand ill take my test as well. All we did was hook a 40' and drive around the bronx(NYC). When I transferred they didn't give me a test, they put me right on the street as I already had experience.

i worked for Conway too. Trust me its a whole different league here, and you will not miss CWF.

only benefit of con-way you dont work weekends... and home everynight. Most likely you will be doing teams or layovers as an extra. Where I am Majority of our terminals are turns so I have been home everynight

And believe me you wont be seeing anytime on a forklift... all driving, sometime youll be lucky either the switcher will hook your truck/drop the set, or you might just park the van and hook, or may have to break down the set and build another.

Good deal! Skinnytrucker on here can help you out about there.

Its working for me. I've been at this terminal 2 months and got a bid. Of course this bid always has open spots as no one wants to it. They cry about having to build and break sets at terminals. It doesn't bother me, you can get the same or more miles than a long turn run

If you go to a satellite/end of the line terminal you will have to break them at times. The hubs and distribution terminals you won't have too

Congrats and welcome aboard. Are you doing a ride along with someone else? If so do you know who it will be?
