YRC Road Driver
Just wanted to get some info. How long are you guys out? Is the pay decent? How are the trucks? Do they have radios and cigarette lighters to plug in your accessories. How do the hotel arrangements work? I applied for to be a City Driver but they think that i'll be a better fit for Road Driver due to my lack of LTL experience and no forklift experience.

Depends on what they have you do. I have heard you can be out up to three days but they put you into a nice hotel. If you are running teams you will be out all week. Pay is decent, ask Squonk or skinny trucker although skinny hasnt been on here much lately. My friend at the terminal north of me says the most he stayed out was one night which he doesnt mind at time since he has a long commute

How much OTR experience does YRC look for when they hire new road drivers?
