Sitting out here in Salt Lake waiting for a load to go back to Chicago. Dispatch said we might have to go back via Denver. ACH I've had NY pizza before and it was about a 1/4 of an inch and the crust on the bottom was like cardboard. No offense I'm sure there's better places than what I had but Chicago deep dish pizza is like a foodgasm. Some places have slices that are over an inch thick and the sauce is amazing. Won't be able to get a run out east. I'll be on these sleeper teams for a few more years and we only run west outta 309. Squonk, it sounds like your having a good time here at Yrc and I'm very happy for you. Stay safe out there guys.

Just got to go to the right places. I loved going with my dad when he had work in Brooklyn to the off the boat guys pizzarias! Although you got me beat on the deep dish pizza, My dad makes it and its AWESOME. I normally go to this place for a Sicilian Garbage Pie(everything on it)

Willow Springs Railyard!!! Boy does that bring back memories. That's the first place I ever went to with this company. Of all the Chicago rail-yards that's the easiest one. Have a good rest at the Clarion. I slept in the hotel 3 nights a week for 3 straight years until I transferred to 309 back in April. My partner and I should get back to 309 around 03:00 am. Look for me if your there. You can't miss me. I'm the skinniest driver there. Lol

Holy crap, that's alot of chicken. Why the hell did I do that? Oh well, plenty of food for breakfast too. Anyway, yes, I agree ST, I've been to 4 Chicago railyards so far & Willow Springs is my favorite of the 4. Also, I have already looked for you, but, haven't had the onions to walk up and ask skinny guys I've noticed. Next time I'm here, I will look for one skinny mofo and ask, "Are you Skinny Trucker?". lol

Addendum: Well crap, I only ate 3 pieces. lol I really wish I wouldn't do stupid ####tt like this. I think when I get home next, I'm gonna ask the manager of the Radisson if it's ok I get one of those convection hot plates. That way I can cook up a bunch of healthy turkey burritos & load up my electric cooler with them. Every time I get to where I'm going, just pop a couple in the microwave & walla. I do miss cooking also. I am a good cook ya know.

I'm a good cook as well! With my dad always going out I taught myself. Now my mom and dad ask me for advice. I'm the expert at using the smoker

Yea I hear you on eating healthy. Im getting back into that again, im finally over my breakup and its time to put myself back into the game. Easier for me since Im home everyday and can just run to the store and grab the things I need. ALso a friend of mine is a personal trainer and she says she will work with me on her spare time. Been a best friend since we were 4 so that helps a lot too.

Squonk if you want tips or the diet plan Im going to be doing ill help you out as much as I can. If your hotel has a gym you can always go in for a some exercise, my friend goes swimming at the indoor hotels

You guys are lucky to know how to cook. I've been married since I was 19 years old. I'm kinda old fashioned and my wife is to. She don't cut grass and I don't cook or clean. Lol. Goin out for Chicago deep dish pizza for dinner tonight. Wish you guys were around, I'm buying.

Hmm could've fooled me with that bacon bomb! I only know how to cook because my dad taught me because he would go out every Saturday night and would leave me dinner. I could go for some deep dish pizza as well right now. If I was close to Chicago I would join you for some deep dish. I worked at the restaurant tonight and am making some wings for home (known for the best in my county!!!) tomorrow I start dieting and training again as most girls here don't like the extra baggage
