I was contacted to be a road driver out of the Buffalo,ny terminal and was told I would avg $1000-1200wk and was told they take out 15% of the pay.So is that $1000-1200 avg after the 15%.I was also told i would make .52 mile but what i have read that is top rate and i can't see me getting paid that to start.I was told I would be working 4-6 days a week on call and it could be any day of the week.Any info would help.thanks

Not sure how that is. My friend in maybrook terminal who is a road driver said he brings home between 850-1000 a week after taxes and everything. He's on the bottom pay too

Yup! Your so called spineless union brothers voted for that 15%. Starting wage should be .60cpm.
Expect to find a new job after they close in a year.
Btw, your actual starting wage will be .39cpm. -

Thanks. I would say that they didn't have much of a choice. YRC has been in trouble for several years mostly due to the excessively high union wages and benefits. I am still not sure that they will be able to survive. I would hate to see all those drivers lose their jobs if they do close the doors. -
