Attn YRC employees

Just wanted to inform all YRC employees of my recent experience after being a dedicated employee for over Twenty years with them. I'm supposed to retire this month and went through the process of filing all my paper work over the past few months. YRC just told me that since they are in bankruptcy, I would not be getting my pension. I don't know why YRC employees took pay cuts, frozen raises, etc to help the company survive if at the end. We don't even get our own pensions we deserve. Why do we have the Union? What the hell are they doing for us? They didn't even have the decency to tell me months ago when I filed my paper work. They just told me and I'm flipping out. I'm sure the remaining thousands of employees have no idea this is going on. The pensions are suppose to be put in a separate fund so this doesn't happen. I think every YRC employee should look into this immediately and take legal action!!!!!

 

Why would I lie. If I was lying then how would I know about the internal information about pay cuts, frozen raises, the pension process, etc. Lets not forget about the fake hearing I must attend. You must be part of the Teamsters Union to claim such closed minded remarks. I hope all the YRC employees see this and take legal actions. I should not have paid my union dues all these years. So much for the Teamsters for Obama. Where is Obama for the working people???? What a scam!!!!!! I will be sending a letter to Obama next.

 

If us truckers don't unite. Then we are all doomed. It's only a matter of time before this catches on and other Unions start screwing there people. If it can happen to YRC. It can happen to Fedex, UPS, etc.

 

For all u young folks, please beware, open your eyes and mouths and stand up for what you believe. It's a shame I had to find this out as an old man!!!!!!!
