I am a former driver for Them. Yellow/Roadway is the sorriest outfit I ever worked for. An incredibility stupid company. Little wonder they are going under.

Management sees it's workers as the problem, NEVER management. A company which maintains this kind of attitude will never last. Good riddance!

Well i can tell this...I work for Conway, and the past year they have took on quite a few of the managers, and these guys are absolutely worthless. I am starting to worry about the future of our company as well.

Well, I worked for Roadway/Yellow and the Management did some really dumb things. They walk over a dollar to pick up a penny. :biggrin_2555:I loved the work I was a p and d guy in Lincoln Nebraska, and we worked our buns off to keep our jobs but they still closed us done, went to omaha twice,,,,,,,dumb

I did not work for yellow/roadway directly, but I worked for its USF brand (Namely Reddaway). During which time we were taking accounts from them, and the customers claimed they did not want them back. Then, guess what, they bought us out and instilled their practices into our organization. Since then we have been loosing ground, and being a 13 year veteran of Reddaway I was layed off in feb 2011. It is only my opinion that they are not a stable bet at present./ Although I have no complaints with the work or the Reddaway experience.

yes i am a roaddriver for yellow (yrc ) and they have been good to me but i am glad i got my time in with the union if you have no union time i would say stay away from them. Management do not know what they are doing just like the CEO of the company before we got this new one. I would say if you want to go to a LTL company try old dominion i have a friend that runs a turn like i do and he loves it and been there with them 21 years now. good luck!! RoadDriver
