This company will make you go bankrupt. You’ll work your ### off to make a little money. They expect you to drive from Odessa to Jal for like $300. Wait for six hours and they only allow you to work 12 hours and you’ll wait so long though nine times out of 10 you will not get another load so you got your truck fired up drove 300 400 miles for 300 to 500 bucks and then you gotta drive back, on top of that these trailers are not aerodynamic and will burn your fuel in the long run you did it for free when I spoke to the company they told me your first load is for free well the problem is is I don’t even get another one nine times out of 10 and they’re taking money from you and given it to their buddies

Pros

Next day pay

Cons

Everything else is a con like this company they’ll treat you like a part number and you’ll go bankrupt.

It's almost as if this company is ran by a bunch of stooges at Halliburton who have a get out of jail free card. Rates go lower and lower every few weeks, with empty promises of work. Makes you wonder where all the money's going.

Pros

Only thing easy about it is the actual driving. Load box, take to pad, get paid (maybe)

Cons

Embezzlement Illegal dispatch methods Fraudulent trade practices

Listen to the 1 star reviews. They were a great company it seems when they started. They paid a lot more enough to make you survive and take a little money to keep in the bank. Over time they have slowly taken 5% off the rate every few months. They have cut the fuel surcharge by 70% and made all the cuts without telling anyone. Their turnover rate is so high because they are overtrucked 3x what they need. Tons of drivers that shouldn’t even be in a truck, nobody runs logs so they work 24/7 and cause tons of rollovers from fatigue. 40%-60% of trucks there don’t have license plates or any company names on them. They have started side business for tires and repairs for your trucks because the owner operators pay has been cut so much you won’t be able to pay for your repairs yourself. Don’t worry they will take it out of your future pay. They will take and take from you until you are bankrupt. They have added so much overhead to the company that they can’t afford to pay you on time. Anyone who has made a 5 star review for the company has only been there for less than a month. You will be starved for loads after you’ve been there a while. If you’re new to the company you will get all the loads you can handle for a couple weeks to a month and that’s how they keep you in. They will tell you when it’s slow that’s it’s gonna be busy very soon and give you dates and when those dates come they will tell you the job got pushed back just another week. Lie lie lie after lie. Everything is automated so you can’t call anyone and if you voice your concerns you will regret it. The only drivers they have that are happy are from other countries and literally run 20+ hours a day. They have figured out how to cheat the App and after their 14 hour clock is up they will change their start time and just clock right back in. This was said to me straight from one of those drivers. They aren’t safety oriented they are money hungry and probably the greediest company I’ve ever seen. Never seen a company that continuously bites the hand that feeds it until people can barely live anymore. For example a load that paid $1064 a year ago now pays around $730 and a load that paid $750 now pays right around $500. They are crooks. You don’t get 92.5% they take off an extra 5% by leasing trailers that aren’t theirs. Another thing is if you book a hitch and don’t abide by all their rules like working 10 hours minimum per shift, working all the days in your hitch, and not declining 3 loads in a day or else you go from 87.5% down to 85% and if the next hitch you break the rules you go down to 82.5% and finally down to 80% of the load. It is 100% forced dispatch. They should stick to brokering and that is it. Their separate ideas to make more money has cost us our pay because they are greedy. If you’re lucky they will go bankrupt before you do. The manager has trucks so those trucks will be running 24/7 and they will tell you they sit when you do except they don’t know you are sitting by the loader all day watching them load while you get nothing. Tons of favoritism here but they’ll tell you there isn’t. If you ask me that’s a major conflict of interest owning a bunch of trucks as a manager.

Pros

You will have more home time with family if you live in North Dakota because you won’t get that many loads. They might go bankrupt before you do. You might make enough for your oil change if you eat ramen daily.

Cons

Load rates suck and they don’t give a crap about the drivers, the equipment sucks, their team has no qualifications to do their positions. There will be days you sit all day without loads and nobody will tell you anything. If you clock out you will be punished and your pay tier will go down even if there isn’t loads, it’s all automated by an app, favoritism, the manager has trucks of their own and you will see those trucks running 24/7. You can’t voice your concerns or you will be kicked

If there's any positive feedback for 5F it's not true. Someone in 5F has posted or 1 of their immigrants who should not have a cdl posted. They over truck every day. Only ones to make any money are immigrants who drive trucks that won't pass a dot inspection. No dot numbers or company name and that is required by their broker agreement. And they are favored, if you're a US citizen you don't stand a chance. They are the worst drivers on the road in the Bakken here in North Dakota. 5F will bankrupt a great company or owner op. They don't care about you and care only about the money. Don't do it. Worst company in all of the oilfields. And there spokesperson for OTR has very revealed pictures on the internet and around truck stops.

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with 5F, with whom I have been associated for the past two going on three years. While the initial experience was positive and focused on supporting drivers, the company's recent actions have left me feeling neglected and taken advantage of. One of the most distressing aspects of my time with 5F is their increased focus on maximizing profits at the expense of owner operators. They are quick to banned drivers from location for taking restricted roads but continue to ignore the actual pay is incorrect for the loads and It is disheartening to witness how the company has become greed-driven, as evidenced by their decision to take a larger cut of our hard-earned money, This change in policy not only demonstrates a lack of consideration for their dedicated workforce but also undermines the trust and loyalty built over time. What is even more concerning is the alleged corruption and favoritism within the company, particularly involving the regional manager and 1f mechanics in West Texas. I have heard reports from reliable sources about instances where other companies misused equipment but managed to secure new workloads by bribing him. This revelation suggests that 5F's priorities are severely skewed, as they are willing to overlook misconduct in exchange for personal gains. Furthermore, it is disheartening to learn that I have to resort to giving gifts or bribes just to obtain essential resources such as trailers or security. Such unethical practices not only undermine the integrity of the company but also create an unfair and biased work environment. This type of behavior fosters an atmosphere of mistrust, where hardworking owners like myself feel undervalued and left with no choice but to engage in unethical practices to secure necessary resources. In conclusion, my experience with 5F has taken a drastic turn for the worse. The company's focus on maximizing profits at the expense of its owners operators, coupled with alleged corruption and favoritism, has left me feeling disheartened and disillusioned. I had hoped for a company that would support and value its workforce, but instead, I have found myself in an environment where personal gains take precedence over ethical conduct and employee satisfaction. It is truly saddening to witness the decline of what was once a promising organization. I would strongly advise anyone considering employment or business dealings with 5F to think twice before committing. The company's actions speak volumes about their lack of integrity and disregard for employee well-being.
