Overall it’s okay company, El Paso terminal is where I’m located. Trucks are not in the greatest shape. Good luck getting a new one. They only give them to personal favorites, has nothing to do with performance. They have driver facing cameras that detect everything. Watch out for fleet managers. They do the bare minimum and will always be upset about the home time you take, they will give it to you. But they will always hold it against you for everything. For example; if you ask for more miles they will tell you “well you take a lot of home time” you can’t even switch fleet managers because they only have 3, and all 3 are the worst, there is a forth one that is for only o/o.

Home basically every week for a couple of days if you can get a working truck out of them just don't take time off ever. Equipment is extremely poorly maintained with some trucks literally coming out of the shop in worse condition than they went in. All trucks have APUs but only some of them work, not all trucks with non working APUs have an optimized idle(the company offers a bonus for low fuel consumption rates which is literally unachievable of you get one of these trucks) 6 out of the 8 trucks I have been on with this company were undrivable and the shop would just return it with no work done to it or with parts removed from it to put on other trucks, if you have to switch trucks for any reason good luck because they say they have a truck shortage(read as they don't want to spend money on driver well being) so you will essentially have no job for long periods between trucks and sometimes dispatch will just take you off of your truck for no reason and leave you jobless. Trying to communicate with dispatch is like pulling teeth, no one wants to answer phones 75% of the time and when they do messages are not passed along to who they are intended for. They tell you you have to use Samsara messages to communicate but then won't replay to them, I have literally sent a question regarding a receiver and got a response 3 MONTHS later. They have "Drivers first" plastered on all of their propaganda but that couldn't be further from the truth, after you have been there for a few months they quickly stop caring about you and focus on hiring new idiot drivers that haven't learned the companies tricks yet. I still haven't figured out why I was assigned a half broken down truck and reported all of its problems to maintenance then had maintenance fees deducted from my paycheck for months.
Pros
Home weekly usually.
Cons
Pay is low, equipment is very poorly maintained, communication is essentially non-existent, slip-seating even though recruiting says they don't, drivers are largely ignored when it comes to needing issues resolved, charge drivers for fixing existing issues on their broken down equipment.

For a smaller company they have a very high turn over rate. For the KC terminal 1 out of 5 times you'll get someone to answer the phone, the shop/maintenance will never answer or return calls. At first every thing will run smooth with loads. Then everything will be live load and unlaod. You will sit more then drive waiting on loads or drive all over the place to find an empty trailer to take to your next load. When you are set for home time, doesn't matter if 5 miles or 280 miles away, they will tell you to head home and not pay for those miles, which adds up. The equipment is really rough, trucks are not very good and most trailers are beat to ####. The pay is under the average, took the job for more home time, still was out just the same as any regional or dedicated route with a different company. So the pay cut going to Outwest to be home more didn't do a bit of good. Know two other former drivers on personal level that left the company for similar reasons. I was more then capable to run 2600-2800 miles a week, the average was 1400-1800 because they could not get loads. They also don't broker much in house, they work broker boards and why there is disorganization and lack of loads. So if you decide to go with this company you have been fair worned.

Overall Great company to work for. Will work a schedule to fit your needs and well kept equipment. Management needs to get a bit more involved with drivers and work on helping the drivers stay instead of finding it easy to let them go.
Pros
Home time to fit your needs.
