The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold two online public listening sessions in December to discuss the Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 (CSA 2010) initiative. The 90-minute live webinars aim to educate the public about the agency’s program, and to answer questions from those who will be affected by the changes to FMCSA’s safety system.
Industry stakeholders must register for the interactive webinars, which will be held in December. The first session, slated for Dec. 3, will describe the three main components of the CSA 2010 program, report the agency’s progress and provide results from the operational test model. The second session, on Dec. 10, discusses CSA 2010 from a driver and carrier standpoint. Both sessions are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST.
Participants must register by no later than Nov. 30 at csa2010.fmcsa.dot.gov/listeningSessions, and can submit questions about the initiative with their registration form. Additionally, stakeholders can submit questions during the webinar. Experts on CSA 2010 subject matter will be on hand during the sessions, addressing comments and questions. Written comments may also be filed on the Federal Docket Management System at http://www.regulations.gov.
