About us
- Universal Intermodal services all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps and offers domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities. We operate from 40 terminals and eight container yards. We provide Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves.
Universal Intermodal is seeking Home Daily CDL A Drivers out of our Newark terminal. Earn a great income and join a growing company!

What we offer
- Potential gross earnings up to $1,800/week + $5,000 Sign on bonus
- Port Work
- Hourly detention pay offered 2 hours into your appointment at the ports
- Paid per move - Each step of the delivery process
- Home Daily
- Light Touch Freight
- Monday-Friday (voluntary Saturday work available)
- Dayshift - start time varies from 3-7am with a 10-12 workday
- Night Shift 8pm start
- Full benefits package
- Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
- Flat-rate pay
- Consistent year-round work
- Minimum guaranteed pay of $250 for the first 4 weeks

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior port experience preferred but not required
- Class A CDL
- 6 months of verifiable experience in the last yea
