CDL A Driver Details

  • Schedule:Start times vary, working 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, 49.8 average weekly hours

  • Pay: $28.27 Per hour + $6.16 Health & Wellness up to 40 hours

  • Route Type: Local running North of Indianapolis and to Cincinnati

  • Freight / Load Type:Hauling mail

  • Equipment:Automatic & Manual, 48' - 53' trailers with liftgate

  • Handling:Light touch, driver will roll mail carts

CDL A DriverMinimumRequirements:

  • License:CDL A

  • Experience:9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

  • Endorsements:None

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

  • SafelyoperateCDL A equipment on localroutes

  • TransportCDL A equipment in accordance withDOT and company safety standards

  • Perform required handling tasks

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintainaccuratelogs and paperwork

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

  • Meet the physical demands of the role
