CDL A Driver $27 to $28 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Columbus, OH. 

TTP:  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday with some Saturdays, 4pm Start time, Average10 hours per day 

• Pay:  CDL A $27 to $28 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours, $1,300 - $1,600 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local home daily, 50 mile radius

• Freight / Load Type: Bulk agriculture

• Equipment: Day cab hauling container trailer, Automatic transmissions. Forward & Driver facing cameras.

• Handling: No touch

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A  

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A on local routes 

• Transport containers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork if required 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
