CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $27 Per Hour  ($250 Quarterly Attendance Bonus) 

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in New Bedford, MA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 4:30pm Start time, 9 hour days

• Pay:  $27 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours,  ($250 Quarterly Attendance Bonus) $1500 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local deliveries to Middleboro, Boston and back to New Bedford

• Equipment: Automatic, 53' Dry Van

• Handling: Touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
