CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $32.96 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Carson, CA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday with occasional Saturday, 7am Start time

• Pay:  $32.96 Per hour, $1,180 - $1,280 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local, Southern California routes

• Freight / Load Type: Palletized groceries

• Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack use

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on [route type] routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including use of a pallet jack to load/unload

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
