BIRCHWOOD TRANSPORT the primary logistics provider for BIRCHWOOD FOODS (EST. 1938) is currently hiring Class A CDL Drivers.  Birchwood Foods manufactures meat products for many restaurants and retailers all over the United States. It is our priority to provide their quality products in the timeliest and safest manner to our customers. Requirements

  • Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation guidelines for CDL- A Drivers.
  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s license with proper endorsements with NO current suspension or revocations.
  • No serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the past 3 yearsas follows:
    • Excessive speed involving any single offense as of any speed of 15 mph or more above the posted limits in any jurisdiction.
    • Improper or erratic lane changes 
    • Following to close 
    • Hit and Run leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident.
    • Cell Phone use including texting violations.
    • No Reckless driving violations combined on the MVR/PSP in the past 5 years.
    • No driving while intoxicated (DWI) or under the Influence of drugs or Alcohol (OWI citations or convictions within the past 5 years.
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 month (3 years)and no more than 2 in the last 12 month (1year) combined on the MVR/PSP.
  • No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injury treated away from scene or disabling damage to a motor vehicle that resulted in a citation being issued within the past 3 years.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle or Completion of PTDIA Certified School Training Program or reputable school that Birchwood Transport has visited & reviewed.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, 20 years old for in the State of WI driving only.
  • No more than 3 jobs in the past twelve months.
  • Must pass a PSP review and have a GOOD work history.
