Dedicated/Regional CDL Truck Driver - Home Every Week

Job description

As a Class A Regional Truck Driver for DLI, you will make deliveries for a variety of customers within the region or out west. A lot of our Freight is for Dedicated Customers, so there is some familiarity for our drivers. Our drivers have the option to park the truck and trailer at home or we will locate local parking for them to minimize commute miles. 5 days on the road and 2 days at home. We have several dedicated customers here in the midwest and a lane that runs from Oakdale, MN to Salt Lake City, Utah. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Drivers are responsible for on-time and accurate delivery.
  • Perform proper pre and post trip evaluation on truck and trailer for each load.

Pay: 

  • We pay 61 cents-per-mile.
  • Drivers are also paid a $10,000 sign-on bonus dispersed over 1 year.
  • Our average driver earns $1,500.00 - $1,600.00 per week

Equipment: 

  • As a Class A Over the Road Truck Driver for DLI our equipment is 2019/2020 Kenworth T680's. 
  • All trucks come with satellite radio, TV, and fridge to help save drivers money when away from home.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: 

 
  • Class A CDL with 1 year driving experience
  • This position dispatches mainly from Oakdale. Plan to be out 5-6 Nights and Home 2 days.
  • Age 21 or older 
  • Able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen, Background Check and road test.
