CDL A Yard Hostler - $23 Per Hour - PM Shift

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in San Antonio, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Start times Vary (Must be flexible)
• Pay: $23 Per hour
• Start Time: 6 PM to 5:30 AM
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Refrigerated goods
• Equipment: Trailers are equipped with lift gates
• Handling: Some touch freight, using an electric pallet jack to load/unload

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Endorsements: None
• Equipment Experience: Must have yard hostler experience and experience using an electric pallet jack
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
• Transport refrigerated goods in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Perform required handling tasks, including loading and unloading using an electric pallet jack, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
