Local CDL Truck Driver - Dry Van

Job Description:

J. Anthony Express, a reputable trucking company operating out of Seekonk, MA servicing the New England area. We are seeking Class A CDL Local Drivers to join our team. As a local driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods within the designated areas. This position offers a no-touch freight experience, allowing you to focus solely on driving. We are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient operation, and we are looking for individuals with a clean driving record, an updated medical card, and at least one year of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle within MA/RI/CT/NH         
• Transport goods to designated locations promptly and efficiently         
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies        
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle      
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo       
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption         
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members        
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL license         
• Clean driving record with no major violations        
• Updated medical card        
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience        
• Comfortable operating a 10-speed transmission        
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team         
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation        
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
