Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations on schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery records using ELD system.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery details.
- Follow all transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects promptly to management
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL), with air brake endorsement.
- A clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
- Proven experience as a professional driver in the transportation or trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and securing cargo.
- Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check.
