Local CDL Truck Driver - Dry Van

- Local Class A Position-full time or we are also looking for part-time weekend workers
- Dry Van
- Drivers can get 400-450 miles with 2 to 4 stops per day
- Top 10% of drivers average miles 485 a day with 2 to 4 stops per day, stores are drop and hook, backhauls can be live load
- Work days: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday available 1st shift 0300-1500 and 2nd shift 1500-0300 depending on what is still available at the time of application.
- 1st shift-top earners average $1250 a week; .53 cpm + $12 per stop (equates to over $25/hr)
- 2nd shift-top earners average $1,380-$1400 a week; .63 cpm + $12 per stop (equates to $28/hr)
- Operate in a 250 mile radius of Adairsville; stores in AL, GA, TN
- $100 congestion pay when delivering to the store in Atlanta, Chamblee, or Lithonia
- $75 extra for hazmat loads (endorsement not required for the role, but required to haul a hazmat load)
- Drivers on this account that want to maximize earnings can choose to stay out for 1 to 2 days during the week and get extra miles that way
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class A CDL in the state of residence
- At least 1 year experience in the past 3 years
- At least 2 years experience in the past 5 years
- Experience must be with comparable equipment (45 foot or longer)
- * Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as regional position
